Sister Barbara'S Fruitcake Cookies
- 1 lb. pecans, chopped
- 1 lb. candied cherries, red and green
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1/2 lb. chopped dates
- 1/2 lb. raisins
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. evaporated milk
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. grape juice
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- Combine pecans, cherries, pineapple, dates and raisins with 1/4 cup flour.
- Mix to coat.
- Set aside.
- Mix margarine, sugar, eggs, milk, flour, soda, grape juice, cloves, cinnamon and vanilla.
- Mix together,
- Add fruit mixture
- Drop by teaspoonful into ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 300u0b0 for 20 minutes.
