Sunflower Oatmeal Bread (Bread Machine)
- 1/2 cup water
- 5/8 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 2 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon gluten
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 1/2 t. bread machine yeast)
- Add all ingredients to the bread pan according to the order in the manufacturer's instructions.
- Set crust on medium and program for the Basic cycle; press Start.
- When the baking cycle is complete, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack.
- Let cool to room temperature before slicing.
