Baked Macaroni & Cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup butter in a large saucepan on the stove; stir in flour and continue stirring until it's smooth.
  3. Add milk, salt and cream cheese.
  4. Continue cooking and stirring until the sauce is thick.
  5. Mix this with cooked macaroni and 3 remaining cheeses.
  6. Spoon into a deep 9x13 pan or a 3-qt. casserole.
  7. Sprinkle with crushed potato chips combined with 1 Tablespoon melted butter.
  8. Bake about 30 minute or until golden brown on top.
