Heavenly Pork Loin

  1. Cut onion into eights or 1/4 rings.
  2. Trim off excess fat.
  3. Coat loin in a heavy layer of salt pepper and Mrs. Dash.
  4. Braise loin in oven until all sides are well browned.
  5. Let cool until you can lift it without burning yourself.
  6. Place loin in Crock pot.
  7. Deglaze pan with 1/2 of stock.
  8. Pour liquid over loin.
  9. Add garlic and herbs.
  10. Use enough of the remaining stock to cover the meat.
  11. Turn crock pot to high and leave undisturbed for at least five hours, the longer the better.
  12. Remove and cool.
  13. Set aside the stock for another recipe.
