Microwave Candy Bar Fudge

  1. Line a 9 x 9-inch pan with foil and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, microwave on High margarine or butter, uncovered, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in cocoa, brown sugar and milk.
  3. Cook, uncovered, on High for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil, stirring once.
  4. Stir again.
  5. Cook for 1 minute more.
  6. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla.
  7. Spread into pan.
  8. In a glass bowl, combine caramels and 1 tablespoon water.
  9. Cook, uncovered, on 50% power for 4 to 5 minutes or until melted, stirring once.
  10. Stir in nuts and spread over fudge.
  11. In a 2-cup glass measure, cook chocolate on Medium for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes or until melted, stirring once. Spread atop caramel.
  12. Chill until firm.
  13. Remove from pan and cut into squares.
  14. Store in refrigerator.
  15. Makes 64 pieces.
