Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- Mix oil and chocolate in heavy saucepan over low heat until melted.
- Pour into mixing bowl.
- Add sugar and mix.
- Add eggs, one at a time, until well mixed.
- Add vanilla.
- Measure flour by dip-level-pour method.
- Stir in salt, flour and baking powder. Chill several hours or overnight.
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls of dough into bowl of confectioners sugar.
- Roll around and shape into a ball.
- Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes about 6 dozen.
- Does not freeze well.
