Mandarin Orange Salad

  1. Mix flour and sugar together until smooth.
  2. Stir in a small amount of the pineapple-orange juice and mix until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and beat well (with spoon).
  4. Add the rest of the pineapple juice while stirring, then add the butter.
  5. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
  6. When mixture comes to a boil, remove from the heat and cool.
  7. After cooled, fold in Cool Whip.
  8. Spread over Jell-O.
  9. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top.
