Wok This Way
- 1 1/2 lbs beef tips (or leftover steak cut into pieces)
- 1 onion, chopped (preferably sweet)
- 1/2 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can of pieces and stems mushrooms
- 1 (12 ounce) jar heinz rich mushroom gravy
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- In a large skillet cook meat on medium heat with a few dashes of worchestershire sauce until fully cooked,(if using precooked meat slightly saute it).
- Add onion,peppers and minced garlic. Cook until onions have slightly golden edges, then add gravy and mushrooms.(You may want to put a small amount of water, like a 1/2 cup, in the gravy jar and shake up with the lid on and then add it to the skillet.)Add another dash of worchestershire sauce and the onion powder and a few shakes of salt and pepper.
- Mix it all together very well, making sure to get all the meat and veggies coated with gravy.
- Reduce heat. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
