Italian Cookies (Taste Of Home)

  1. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  2. Combine flour and baking powder and gradually add to the creamed mixture; mix well.
  3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 350F for 9-11 minutes until the bottoms are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to completely cool.
  5. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  6. Dip cookies into mixture allowing excess to drip off.
  7. Roll in flaked coconut.
