Hearty Beef And Cheese Pie
- 1 pkg. crescent rolls
- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
- 8 oz. tomato sauce with mushrooms
- 1 c. green beans, drained
- paprika
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Brown meat, onion and pepper.
- Drain.
- Stir in tomato sauce, beans, garlic salt and salt; simmer while preparing crust. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
- Place in an ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
- Press over bottom and up sides to form crust. Combine egg and 1 cup cheese.
- Spread over crust.
- Spoon meat into crust.
- Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serves 5 to 6.
