Hearty Beef And Cheese Pie

• 1 pkg. crescent rolls
• 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
• 1/3 c. chopped onion
• 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
• 8 oz. tomato sauce with mushrooms
• 1 c. green beans, drained
• paprika
• 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 egg, beaten
• 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

1. Brown meat, onion and pepper.
2. Drain.
3. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, garlic salt and salt; simmer while preparing crust. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
4. Place in an ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
5. Press over bottom and up sides to form crust. Combine egg and 1 cup cheese.
6. Spread over crust.
7. Spoon meat into crust.
8. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
9. Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
10. Serves 5 to 6.
