Commander'S Salad

  1. Tear greens into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large salad bowl, combine the greens,bacon, cheese, and croutons.
  3. Put 1/2 cup oil and the remaining dressing ingredients in a blender.
  4. Cover and blend on low speed.
  5. Remove cover and gradually blend in remaining oil.
  6. To serve, pour 8 T. of dressing over salad and toss.
  7. Divide onto individual plates and garnish each serving with the hard boiled egg.
  8. Refrigerate any leftover salad dressing.
