Deluxe Dog Bones

  1. Cut livers into 1-inch chunks and add 1 cup water.
  2. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer about 5 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. Drain off liquid and add water to make 1 cup.
  4. Put livers in food processor; break in eggs (including shells).
  5. Puree, adding reserved liquid as needed to keep mixture moving.
  6. Scrape into bowl; mix in remaining ingredients.
  7. Turn onto board and knead until not sticky.
  8. Clean board; dust with flour.
  9. Dust ball of dough with flour.
  10. Roll out 1/4-inch thick.
  11. Shape bones by hand or use cookie cutter.
  12. Bake 1 hour at 300u0b0.
  13. If not hard when cooled, return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer.
  14. Store in airtight container or freeze.
