Peasant Bread Soup

  1. put chicken stock in a pot.
  2. add oven roasted garilc and the rest of the spices (and mushrooms).
  3. bring to a boil on med heat then low and cover for 30 min.
  4. cut bread into 1/2 inch rounds and brush with olive oil.
  5. toast in a pan till brown (i like mine dark).
  6. warm soup bowls in the oven or microwave.
  7. pour soup into bowls.
  8. spilt bread into bit size pieces and put in soup top with cheese.
  9. let stand 5 minute.

chicken stock, garlic, italian seasoning, onion powder, sweet smoked paprika, bread, chanterelle mushroom, parmesan cheese
