Million Dollar Fudge
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 12 1/2 oz. chocolate bar
- 12 oz. chocolate bits
- 1 (7 1/2 to 10 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
- 2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, shaved
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- Blend together in saucepan sugar, milk and butter or margarine. Cook on medium-low, stirring until mixture has boiled gently 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, break the chocolate bar; add chocolate bits, Marshmallow Creme and unsweetened chocolate.
- Add cooked mixture, blending well, then vanilla and nuts.
- Beat until creamy and all marshmallow streaks have disappeared.
- Pour into a buttered pan (9 x 14-inches or 11 x 16-inches), depending upon thickness of fudge desired.
- Place in refrigerator to cool.
- This fudge may be frozen and taken out and thawed at room temperature. Cut in pieces and leave in pan, but wrap securely, leaving it wrapped to unthaw.
