Best Yet Hot Rolls

  1. In bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
  2. Add milk, sugar, salt, egg, shortening and half of the flour to yeast.
  3. Mix with spoon until smooth.
  4. Add remaining flour and mix until smooth.
  5. Turn dough onto lightly floured working area; knead until smooth (5 minutes). Round up in greased bowl.
  6. Bring greased side up; cover with Handi-Wrap.
  7. Let rise in warm place (85u0b0) until double, about 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Punch down and let rise again until almost double (about 30 minutes).
  9. Shape dough into rolls.
  10. Place in greased baking pan and let rise.
  11. Bake at 450u0b0.
