Cinnamon Kuchen

  1. Mix together milk, sugar and salt.
  2. Add yeast.
  3. Stir in eggs and add shortening.
  4. Add flour.
  5. Knead dough until elastic.
  6. Put in greased bowl and let rise until double, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Punch down.
  7. Turn over in bowl and let rise about 30 to 45 minutes.
  8. Roll dough to about 1/2-inch thick and put on cookie sheet.
  9. Let rise about 30 minutes.
  10. Punch holes in dough, but not all way through.
  11. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and about 1/2 can condensed or evaporated milk.
  12. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
