Crock Pot Apple Nut Streusel
- 6 cups sliced peeled tart apples
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup Bisquick
- Topping
- 1 cup Bisquick
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons cold butter
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- Toss together apples, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg in a large bowl.
- Place in a greased crock pot.
- In a mixing bowl, combine milk, soft butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and Bisquick and mix well.
- Spoon this mixture over apples.
- Make topping by combining Bisquick and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Cut in butter until crumbly, add almonds and combine.
- Sprinkle this mixture over apples.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or until apples are tender.
