Red, White And Blue Delite
- 1 Entenmann's pound cake
- 1 small box instant vanilla pudding
- sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- fresh blueberries or may use Polaner all fruit
- 1 tub Cool Whip
- rum (optional)
- Prepare pudding according to box.
- Slice pound cake and put 1 layer in bottom of clear glass bowl.
- Sprinkle rum over cake, if desired.
- Spread 1/3 of pudding over cake.
- Place sliced strawberries on pudding.
- Add another layer of sliced cake, rum and pudding.
- Place crushed pineapple or blueberries on this layer. Add final layer of sliced cake, rum and pudding.
- Place remaining layer of fruit and refrigerate 1 hour.
- (Dessert will settle.) Cover top with Cool Whip before serving.
- Can use fat-free cake. Make pudding with skim milk and use lite Cool Whip.
- Use any fruit you like.
