Cabbage And Meat Balls

  1. In a bowl, combine hamburger, uncooked rice, egg, salt and pepper.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Boil cabbage leaves for 5 minutes.
  4. In a pan, saute onion in vegetable oil.
  5. Add lemon juice, sugar, soup and water.
  6. Simmer.
  7. Take 1/10 of hamburger mixture, roll into a ball, wrap a cabbage leaf around the mixture and place it in a large pot with the opening of cabbage at the bottom.
  8. Continue until all hamburger/cabbage is used.
  9. Pour the onion/soup sauce over cabbage rolls.
  10. Simmer on low for 3 hours.
