End Of The Garden Pickles

  1. Soak cucumbers, peppers, cabbage, onions, celery and tomatoes in salt water overnight (1/2 cup salt to 2 quarts water).
  2. Drain. Cook the carrots and string beans in boiling water until tender; drain water.
  3. Mix soaked and cooked vegetables with remaining ingredients and boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Place in sterilized jars; seal at once.
  5. Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
