Linguine With Mushrooms And Garlic Sauce

  1. In large pot, boil water for pasta.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan.
  3. Add garlic; allow to brown for a minute, then add mushrooms, basil and salt and cook until mushrooms are just tender.
  4. Add remaining 4 tablespoons butter, pepper and oil; stir and remove from heat.
  5. Cook linguine until al dente.
  6. When pasta is done, reheat sauce and add parsley.
  7. Drain pasta; pour into medium size bowl, along with sauce, and toss.
  8. Serve with Parmesan cheese on the side.
