Beef Noodle Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. green pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 c. sliced green onions and tops
- 3/4 c. buttered bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook noodles according to package direction; drain.
- In skillet, brown meat.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Add green peppers and seasonings.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in flour, tomato sauce and paste.
- Blend together cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream.
- Stir in green onions.
