Easy And Yummy Chocolate Cake

• 1/2 c. butter
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2/3 c. ground chocolate
• 1 1/2 c. ripe banana
• 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
• 1 3/4 c. unsifted flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 3/4 c. boiling water
• 1/2 c. cocoa
• 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
• 1 3/4 c. sugar
• 3 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 c. cooking oil
• 7 unbeaten egg yolks
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 c. egg whites (7 or 8)
• 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1 tsp. salt

1. Add boiling water to cocoa and stir until smooth.
2. Cool. Measure and sift together into mixing bowl the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
3. Make a well in dry ingredients and add in order, cooking oil, egg yolks, cooled cocoa mixture and vanilla.
4. Beat with spoon until smooth.
