Ham Loaf
- 1 lb. ground smoked ham
- 1-1/2 lb. ground fresh pork
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. break crumbs (or 2 c. cracker crumbs)
- 1 c. milk
- 2 or 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2-2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- You may have meats ground at meat market.
- To meat mixture add the bread or cracker crumbs, milk, and eggs.
- Mix all ingredients together, and form into loaf. Please in baking dish.
- To make sauce to pour over ham loaf, mix flour, sugar, and mustard. Slowly blend in tomato juice and vinegar, and heat in saucepan until mixture thickens.
- Pour over ham loaf, and bake at 350u0b0 for 1-1/2 hours.
