Beef Stroganoff

  1. Cook noodles and drain; keeping warm.
  2. Stack beef strips. cut into 1 inch strips.
  3. In large skillet, heat 2 tsp. oil over medium heat until hot.
  4. Add beef and garlic; stir fry 1 minute or until outside of meat is no longer pink.
  5. Remove from skillet; season with salt and pepper.
  6. In same skillet, cook mushrooms in remaining oil until tender.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Add brown gravy mix and water; blend well.
  9. Over medium heat bring to boil.
  10. Reduce heat, simmer until gravy has thickened, stirring frequently.
  11. Add beef back into gravy mixture; heat through.
  12. Serve over noodles; top with sour cream.
  13. Serves 4.
