Orange Drop Cookies

• 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 tablespoon orange zest
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup buttermilk
• orange icing
• 1 tablepsoon orange zest
• 3 tablespoons orange juice
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 3 cups powdered sugar

1. cream butter and sugar.
2. add eggs
3. add finely grated zest
4. add vanilla
5. beat all til fluffy
6. sift dry ingredients
7. add to creamed mixture alternalely with buttermilk.
8. beating after each addition
9. drop onto cookie sheet
10. bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 13 minutes
11. while cookies are warm frost with icing
12. mix icing all together.
