Cocoa Coconut Oatmeal Nests
- 3/4 c. butter softened (l 1/2 stick)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all purpose flour
- 1/4 c. Hersheys cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sweetened coconut flakes
- 1 1/2 c. rolled or quick cooking oats
- Candy coated milk chocolate eggs (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar until blended well.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix.
- Combine together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture beating until blended.ttir in oats and coconut.
- Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
- Cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
