Fruitcake
- raisins
- mixed candied fruit
- pecans (can add more)
- dates, pitted
- prunes, pitted
- currants
- coconut
- candied pineapple
- candied cherries
- candied citron
- fig preserves or candied figs (1 qt.)
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 lb. butter, softened
- 1 c. molasses
- 12 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- After mixing these ingredients, add the fruit. Bake in greased and floured Bundt pans at 300u0b0 until done. Test with toothpick. Cool completely. Decorate with sliced candied pineapple and cherries.
