Overnight Layered Salad
- 1 head lettuce
- 1/2 lb. fresh spinach
- 1/4 c. mild onion, thinly sliced
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed, but not cooked
- salt to taste
- sugar to taste
- pepper to taste
- bacon bits (8 slices fried crisp and crumbled)
- 1 pt. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1/4 c. chopped pimentos
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced radishes
- 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Parmesan cheese (to sprinkle)
- parsley (to decorate)
- Wash and dry lettuce and spinach and break into bite size pieces.
- Place in large bowl.
- Top with celery, onion, peas and radishes.
- Sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper, sugar and Parmesan cheese to taste.
