Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

  1. Combine crushed pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar; mix well.
  2. Press into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake in preheated oven at 400u0b0 for 8 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven; let cool completely.
  5. In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and remaining 1 cup sugar until well blended. Fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread over cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate until chilled.
  7. In a mixing bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  8. Add marshmallows; stir until melted.
  9. Add strawberries with their juice.
  10. Let stand 10 minutes.
  11. Pour over cream cheese layer.
  12. Refrigerate until firm.
  13. Cut into squares to serve.
  14. Serves 12.
