Beef With Green Beans And Sesame Seed
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/4 lb. green beans, sliced diagonally into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium white onion, cut into 8 wedges
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb. flank steak, cut on diagonal against grain into 1/4-inch thick strips
- 1/2 c. beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 2 tsp. Asian sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Cook sesame seed in a dry wok over medium heat, tossing until lightly browned and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
- Remove to plate. In wok, heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil over high heat until hot, swirling to coat sides of pan.
- Add green beans, onion and garlic. Stir-fry until crisp-tender, 4 to 6 minutes.
- Remove to plate.
