Sugar Cookies

  1. Combine flour, cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and nutmeg; set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in eggs one at a time.
  4. Add lemon, vanilla and almond extracts; beat well.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture and blend thoroughly.
  6. Place in greased bowl and chill overnight.
  7. Roll out on floured pastry cloth and cut with cookie cutters.
  8. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 325u0b0 until golden brown, about 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen.
