Strawberry Pork Chops

  1. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of whole berries, bread crumbs, water, melted butter, celery, onion, green pepper and seasonings. Stuff pork chop pockets with mixture and close with toothpicks. In a large skillet, heat the tablespoon of cooking oil and brown chops on both sides.
  2. Remove chops from skillet and place in baking dish.
  3. In a small saucepan,
  4. mash the remaining strawberries and combine with brown sugar and soy sauce; baste chops.
  5. Reserve the rest for basting chops.
  6. Cover baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated 375u0b0 oven for 90 minutes. Remove chops at 30-minute intervals to taste.
