Root Beer Crunch Cookies
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks (8 oz.) butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. (12 oz.) chopped Nestle Crunch candy bars
- 1/3 c. root beer
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla and root beer.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- If dough is too runny, add more flour little by little.
- Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Stir in Crunch bar pieces.
- Drop by tablespoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from baking pan to racks to completely cool.
- Makes about 5 dozen.
