Spinach-Sausage Quiche
- 1 All-Ready pie shell
- 8 oz. pork sausage, crumbled
- 1/4 c. chopped green onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced or substitute garlic powder
- 1 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained well (about 5/8 c.)
- 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (6 oz.)
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Bake pie shell at 400u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 375u0b0.
- In medium skillet, cook sausage, green onion and garlic over medium heat until sausage is done, stirring occasionally.
- Drain sausage fat and stir in spinach and stuffing mix.
- Sprinkle first cheese and then sausage mixture in pie shell. In medium bowl, combine egg and half and half with fork.
- Pour egg mixture over sausage in pastry shell.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 375u0b0.
- Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.
