Creamy Chicken And Broccoli
- 6 oz. pkg. stuffing mix
- 1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli spears, thawed and drained
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
- Prepare
- stuffing
- mix according to package directions; stir in 1/2 can French fried onions.
- Spread stuffing mix over bottom of
- greased
- 9-inch
- round or square shallow casserole dish. Arrange broccoli spears with flowerets around the outer edge of dish.
- Melt
- cheese.
- Add
- milk
- and
- sour
- cream
- to cheese;
- mix well.
- Combine
- chicken
- and
- cheese sauce;
- mix well.
- Pour mixture over broccoli stalks.
- Bake, covered, for 30
- minutes
- at 350u0b0.
- Sprinkle remaining onions over chicken and bake, uncovered, 5 minutes.
- Serves 4 to 6.
