Simple Vegetable Soup With Ground Turkey
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn
- 1 (15 ounce) can green beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can white beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can peas
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can mexican stewed tomatoes
- 1 (7 ounce) can carrots
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 32 ounces chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Heat stock pot or dutch over to medium. Season ground turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder & onion powder and cook till almost done, seperating with a spoon as you cook. Add chopped onion and bell pepper and continue cooking until turkey is cooked through.
- Open all of your cans of veggies and dump into pot. Add corn, green beans, white beans, peas, tomato sauce, mexican stewed tomatoes, carrotts and chicken broth.
- Stir together and bring to a boil. Put a lid on and simmer on medium for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Enjoy with some crusty bread!
