Bavarian Banana Torte

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease 2 round 8-inch cake pans.
  3. Beat egg yolks with sugar until thick.
  4. Add crumbs, baking powder, pecans, coconut and vanilla.
  5. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
  6. Fold into crumb mixture.
  7. Pour into cake pans.
  8. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
  9. Cool.
  10. Spread 1/2 the pudding for one layer. Slice 1 banana, brush with lemon juice and arrange in pudding. Put on top cake layer.
  11. Repeat.
  12. Refrigerate.
