Dried Beef Dip In Pumpernickel Bread
- 1 large pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped pimento
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. dried beef, chopped
- 1 large round pumpernickel bread
- Mix all ingredients except bread until well blended.
- Cut out a large cavity in the center of the bread.
- Put the piece of bread that was cut out to the side.
- Fill the cavity with the cream cheese mixture.
- Place the loaf of bread with the cream cheese mixture into a preheated 350u0b0 oven.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove and place on serving tray.
- Cut up the bread that was put to the side into dipping-size cubes.
- Place these cubes around the loaf of bread.
- After these cubes are gone, encourage the guests to tear off pieces of the bread bowl and keep on dipping until gone. Delicious, and have fun dipping!
