Apple Cinnamon Walnut Bread

  1. Mix yeast, sugar and warm water.
  2. Proof 5 minutes.
  3. Add warm milk, butter, cinnamon, baking soda, orange rind, apples and walnuts.
  4. Add flours.
  5. Knead 10 minutes.
  6. Let rise until double. Divide into two.
  7. Roll into rectangle.
  8. Add 1/2 cup raisins soaked in Grand Marnier.
  9. Put in pans (bread).
  10. Let rise.
  11. Bake at 425u0b0 for 10 minutes and 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
