Potato Skillet Dinner

  1. Brown the meat with the onion; drain fat.
  2. Add the water, parsley, potatoes and spices; bring to a boil.
  3. Turn down to a simmer and cover, stirring frequently, to keep the potatoes from sticking.
  4. (Add more water, if necessary.) Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until potatoes just begin to get tender.
  5. Stir in peas; cook another 6 to 8 minutes, still covered, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.
  6. (Leftovers make great burritos.)
  7. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
