Grandma Linda'S Cake

  1. In medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, nutmeg, salt and cloves; set aside.
  2. In large mixing bowl, beat butter with electric beaters on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add eggs, bananas, undrained pineapple and vanilla; beat until combined.
  3. Add flour mixture.
  4. Beat on low speed until mixed; beat on medium speed for 1 minute.
  5. Fold in pecans.
  6. Spread batter in well greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan.
  7. Bake at 325u0b0 for 70 to 75 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove cake from pan; cool completely.
  10. After cooled you may sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 12 to 16 servings.
