Meat Loaf Italiano
- 1 can Campbell's tomato soup
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 12 oz. sausage
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 c. water
- In a bowl, mix thoroughly the tomato soup and spices. Take out 1/2 cup soup mixture and set the rest aside. Combine 1/2 cup soup with beef, sausage, crumbs, cheese, onion, egg and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix well.
- Shape firmly into an 8 x 4-inch loaf in a baking pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until done. Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings.
- In saucepan, heat remaining soup, water and reserved drippings to boiling, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon over meat loaf.
- Makes 8 servings.
