Crab-Filled Phyllo Bites

  1. For filling:
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine crab, cheese, mushrooms, crushed wafers, parsley, onion powder and pepper. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of the butter.
  3. Toss to mix.
  4. Set aside. Unfold phyllo; spread one of the sheets flat.
  5. Brush with butter. Top with another sheet.
  6. (Cover remaining phyllo sheets with a damp towel or Saran Wrap while working.)
  7. Cut stack of buttered phyllo lengthwise into fourths and crosswise into fifths.
  8. You will have 20 (3 1/4-inch) squares.
