Bob Boyardee'S Famous Italian Spaghetti Sauce(Slow Cooker Recipe)
- 1 to 5 lb. ground chuck
- 1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef consomme soup
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 (4 1/2 oz.) jars sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic or 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 can Italian style stewed tomatoes, well drained (optional)
- cooked spaghetti or linguine noodles
- Combine meats and brown together.
- Drain well.
- Combine with all ingredients, except optional stewed tomatoes, in 5-quart slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Add tomatoes during last hour of cooking time.
- Serve over noodles with garlic bread on the side.
- Serves 6 to 8.
