Grace'S Chicken Casserole
- 1 whole chicken, cut up and skinned
- 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing/bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
- Boil chicken until meat comes off bone.
- Let cool; then remove bone and skin.
- Remove meat and cut up.
- Grease casserole dish (or use Pam cooking spray).
- Mix soups (uncooked) with chicken broth. Layer casserole dish in order:
- meat, both soup/broth, onion, stuffing crumbs (lightly enough to cover), melted butter, poured over stuffing.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Remove foil last 5 minutes of baking, so top may brown. Serves 6 people.
