Big Batch Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 (18 1/4 oz.) yellow cake mix (without pudding)
- 2 pkg. RapidRise yeast
- 6 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. warm water or 1 1/2% milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- Combine
- cake
- mix,
- yeast,
- 1
- cup flour and salt in a large bowl.
- Stir
- in
- water,
- eggs
- and oil.
- Beat at medium speed with
- an
- electric
- mixer for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
- Cover dough and let rise. Divide dough in half.
- Roll each half 15 x 14-inches
- and spread with butter or margarine.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon
- as
- you
- desire and sprinkle over dough.
- Roll up like a jelly roll.
- Slice
- and let
- rise.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Then glaze with powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.
