Cool And Creamy Cheese Cake
- 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. heavy cream or Cool Whip
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted margarine in small bowl, then press in the bottom of pie pan; set aside.
- Put gelatin in cold water.
- Stir over low heat until dissolved. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and salt, mixing at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended.
- Gradually add milk, lemon juice and gelatin.
- Chill until slightly thick.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Pour over crust.
- Chill until firm.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
