Chicken Lasagne
- 8 strips lasagne noodles, cooked
- 3 c. cooked, cut up chicken
- 2 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 2 c. grated cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1 medium jar pimentos, drained
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- Make sauce of onion, pepper and oleo.
- Add pimentos, mushrooms, soup and milk.
- Heat all together.
- Using a 9 x 13-inch pan, place 4 strips of noodles on bottom.
- Layer 1/2 of chicken, 1/2 of cottage cheese, 1/2 of cheese and 1/2 of sauce.
- Repeat. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Can be made the day before and refrigerated.
- Allow more time if it is very cold.
- Serves 10 to 12.
