Pepper Steak

  1. In large skillet or wok, stir-fry the garlic in 1 tablespoon butter for 1 minute.
  2. Add sliced onion and sweet pepper, stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove vegetables with a slotted spoon to a bowl.
  4. Add remaining butter to wok and stir-fry thinly sliced round steak 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Return vegetables back to wok and add the broth and soy sauce and bring to boil. Stir water and cornstarch together and add to wok.
  6. Cook, stirring until sauce is bubbly.
  7. Cook for 2 minutes more.
  8. Add paprika, tomato wedges and pea pods.
  9. Stir and cook about 30 seconds.
  10. Serve over rice.
